While speaking to supporters at a rally in Michigan, the president slammed Biden and urged Michigan voters to make sure they get to the polls and vote for him in the upcoming election.

“I have the distinct pleasure of running against the worst presidential candidate in the history of presidential politics,” Trump said. “I really believe that.”

“Can you imagine if I lost to him?” Trump asked. “I’d have to say that I lost to the worst candidate ever put up. Don’t do that to me, Michigan.”

Trump then told the crowd about how he watched several of the Democratic primary debates with First Lady Melania Trump and that they both noticed Biden struggling mightily when debating other candidates.

“She looked and she watched the debate, and she watched Joe and she said, ‘Darling, it’s so sad,’” Trump said, as the crowd laughed. “This was early on. And this is the guy I’m running against.”

Trump rounded out his comments by railing against Biden for supporting policies like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which largely allowed China to enter the World Trade Organization (WTO) and spread their influence into several countries, including the U.S.

“Just a terrible, terrible situation took place, and that’s when China became a big powerful economic power,” Trump said.

The president also warned that Biden would remove his economic tariffs on China.

“If Biden is elected, China will own America,” Trump said. “Washington vultures like Biden and others ripped apart entire towns all across your state.”

For his part, Biden is trying to distance himself from his previous support for NAFTA.

On Wednesday in Michigan, Biden declared NAFTA a “mistake,” despite the fact he voted for the Clinton-era trade agreement.

Biden asked by Fox 2 in Detroit about Trump declaring NAFTA a failure — and he actually agreed with the president.

“What I say to that is, number one, the Bush administration did not keep its commitment on NAFTA, number one, and it was a mistake, number one,” he said, before attacking Trump’s claims that he brought manufacturing jobs to Michigan.
